In the background of the image, created by Erste Gruppe member Claire Hill, is the historic Hotel del Coronado. Situated on San Diego�s Coronado Island, the hotel served as the main convention venue. The �Del� as it�s known by the locals, was built in 1888 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977.
