Scene taken from a poem (Der Trompeter von Säckingen) written in 1853 by Josef Viktor von Scheffel, which tells the story of a love affair between a trumpeter and a baron’s daughter.
Same model number was originally applied to a stein with a different configuration but the same subject-matter.
