Central image depicts St. Augustine�s Old City Gate, built in 1808 and at one time the only entrance to the city. Side images include: the old watch tower at Ft. Marion, originally a Spanish castle completed in 1756; and the Anastasia Lighthouse, completed in 1874 and still active today. Lid inlay displays the great crest of Spain, emblematic of the founding of St. Augustine by the Spanish in 1565.
