The centrally depicted Absecon Lighthouse, overlooking Absecon Inlet in Atlantic City was in active operation from 1857 until 1933. Reopened in 1979 as part of the Atlantic City Coastal Museum, the 171-foot lighthouse provides visitors who ascend its 228 steps with a unique view of the Atlantic City skyline.
It is currently unknown whether all existing versions of this stein display the same factory error, substituting �N.Y.� (New York) for �N.J.� (New Jersey) below the central image.
