The title of the scene on this stein has no direct English translation. The term �Schnadah�pfl� refers to a merry extempore ditty of four short lines, the 2nd and 4th lines rhyming, sung in the Bavarian and Austrian mountain areas. Delivering the ditty in this case is �Sepp� (short for �Joseph�) a name used to identify what might be considered the universal Bavarian male.
