Pictured on one side of this stein is Bacchus (or Dionysus), God of winemaking, fertility, ecstasy and theater, being pulled in his chariot by a satyr, one of a class of drunken and lustful gods. On the other is Venus, goddess of love, sex, beauty, and fertility.
