The central figure on this stein is almost certainly intended to represent the title character from a poem entitled �The Trumpeter of S�ckingen�, written in 1853 by Josef Viktor von Scheffel, which tells the story of a love affair between a trumpeter and a baron�s daughter.
Same model number applied to a stein depicting Two Landsknechte.
