Side panels typically contain German toasts (Prosit, Wohl bekomm�s, et al.). However, examples have also been seen reading �New Orleans/Souvenir� and �World�s Fair/St. Louis, Mo.�
Note also that some examples have an unusual ceramic hinge (bottom right) for which Diesinger was awarded the German patent number DRGM 250635 in 1905.
