A special order version of this stein (below right) was produced for the 1904 St. Louis World’s Fair, replacing the text on one side with an image of a Tyrolean castle, and adding “Tyrol in St. Louis 1904”. Additional D&B steins known to have been produced for the Fair include Nos. 212, 268, 366, 406, 458, 523 and 575.
